Personal Injury Attorney (Plaintiff-Side) – Glendale, CA

Direct Counsel is partnering with a well-established plaintiff-side personal injury firm in Glendale that’s looking for a driven, courtroom-ready attorney who knows how to move cases—and move the needle for clients.

Why This Role Stands Out

This isn’t a “push paper and wait for approval” role. You’ll run your own cases , work directly with clients, negotiate with insurers who know your name, and build matters from intake through resolution—with trial exposure when cases demand it.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Owning a plaintiff-side personal injury litigation caseload from start to finish
• Evaluating cases, spotting liability issues, and building winning strategies
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and compelling settlement demands
• Taking and defending depositions ; appearing at mediations, arbitrations, and hearings
• Negotiating settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel
• Collaborating with partners, paralegals, investigators, and medical providers
• Preparing cases for trial and assisting in courtroom proceedings when needed
• Keeping files tight, deadlines met, and clients informed every step of the way

What They’re Looking For

• 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
• Confidence managing cases independently (with support—not hand-holding)
• Strong writing and advocacy skills
• Ability to juggle multiple cases without dropping the ball
• Immediate or near-term availability preferred

Compensation & Perks

• $130,000 – $250,000 base (commensurate with experience and performance)
