Description:


Under the general supervision of the Building Principal, carries major responsibilities in facilitating student attendance in the school office and assists in the athletics office while serving the needs of the students, staff, community, and Building Principal, Assistant Principal, and Athletic Director. Must have strong communication and computer skills.


Salary Based on NBESS schedule
Ten-Month Employee
8-hour day


Qualifications:


1. Two years of post-secondary training or four years of secretarial job experience.
2. Proficiency with office software, Word, Excel, etc.
3. Good oral and written communication skills.
4. Able to handle varied tasks.
5. Relates well with students, staff, and parents.



Duties:

1. General reception duties.
2. General secretarial duties.
3. Maintains student records.
4. Student assistance.
5. General assistance for the Business Office.
6. General assistance for the Athletic Department.
7. General first aid in the absence of a nurse.
8. Complies with all District policies, regulations, and procedures as established by the Board of Education.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Salary/Benefits:
Salary based on NBESS Salary Schedule, dependent on experience
