Job Description

Seeking a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) to support students in a K-12 school setting in Hot Springs, South Dakota. This contract position spans the new school year (NSY) and offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in behavior analysis and intervention within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive student behavior
• Provide direct behavior analytic services and coaching to students and staff
• Monitor and document student progress toward behavior goals
• Deliver training on behavior strategies to school personnel

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or certification as a Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS)
• Experience working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively within a school-based multidisciplinary team
