At In Tune Marine the Service Writers are at the core of our dealership. Originating as a service-based company in 2006...we value the strength and drive of our service team. Being honored with the Mercury CSI Award for 10 consecutive years running makes our team proud and speaks for our superior level of service! Service Writers initiate and process work orders related to repairs, maintenance, and rigging of customer owned boats along with new marine products from Vexus Boats, Phoenix Boats, Sylvan Pontoons, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Mercury. Everyday accessories such as shallow water anchors and live sonar. Working collectively with the customer, technician, service manager and parts manager gives everyone pride in a job well done!

Duties:

·         Initiate, quote, schedule and process work orders. Maintain a high level of communication with customers throughout the service process

·         Assist retail customers with purchasing and ordering parts

·         Provide Technician, Service Manager and Parts Manager with additional information as needed for service work and part orders

·         Maintain a clean and organized workspace

·         Assist service team as needed

·         Follow all established safety rules while in the shop and on the water for lake testing and demonstration

Qualifications:

·         Marine Education and/or Experience

·         High School Diploma or equivalent required

·         Must have valid Driver’s License and good driving record

·         US work authorization

·         Must be self-motivated, dependable, detail oriented, and work well with a team

·         Must demonstrate professionalism and follow customer service principles

Job Type: Full – Time

Start Date: Flexible (Immediately to Feb 2026)

Pay: Based on Experience / Education Level
