Apex Auto Tech LLC is looking for multiple skilled Experienced Auto Mechanic/Technicians to join our team.

We are in need of an excellent lead auto mechanic who has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. They are well-versed in complex mechanical or electrical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They must also be an outstanding communicator to provide detailed explications of repairs to Manager and/or customer.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Provide diagnostics to service writer or upper management with detailed information about malfunction or repairs needed that can be passed on to customer.
• Work usually has a 2-3 day turn around (depending on the job) or sooner for customer/local companies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic and diesel mechanic a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment (e.g. lift).
• Tools are not provided and must be obtained within 1-3 weeks of employment.
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
