Your Role as an Exterior Sales Professional

As an Exterior Sales Professional, you will be the face of Iron River Construction's Exterior Division, specializing in roofing, siding, windows, and doors. This role involves both insurance claims and retail projects, requiring a keen eye for detail and strong customer relationship skills. You will guide homeowners through the entire sales process, from initial contact to securing the signed contract.

 

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive Sales: Actively pursue leads and engage with homeowners to understand their exterior renovation needs.

* Develop Proposals : Create precise and detailed project proposals.

* Close Deals : Meet with homeowners to present proposals, effectively negotiate, and secure signed contracts along with all necessary documentation.

* Project Handoff : Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to ensure complete job files and a seamless transition to the production phase.

* Ongoing Communication : Maintain consistent dialogue with the Production Manager, providing updates on job progress during weekly meetings.

* Financial Management : Efficiently collect deposits, progress payments, and final payments for all projects.

* Insurance Expertise Review and manage supplements for insurance-related contracts.

* Continuous Learning : Attend regular training and seminars to stay compliant with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant industry standards.

*Perform other duties as assigned to support overall company objectives.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking a results-oriented professional with a solid foundation in the construction industry, particularly exterior work.

Qualifications:

* Essential: Proven experience in the construction industry.

* Skilled Negotiator: Demonstrated strong negotiation abilities.

* Business Acumen : Possesses financial and business management skills relevant to sales and project profitability.

* Tech-Savvy (Bonus): Experience with insurance claims software (Xactimate), measurement tools (Hover), and project management platforms (BuilderTrend) is a significant advantage.
