Job Description
FDOT Roadway/Electrical Superintendent Position
· Manage, supervise, train and lead current workforce
· Schedule with management field crews to service assigned construction sites
· Maintain an as-built set of supervised projects
· Ensure field crews adhere to Corporate safety policies and requirements
· Ensure field crews adhere to Customer construction standards and specifications
· Review construction drawings with management to ensure plans accuracy
· Assist management in the preparation of any field change orders
· Approve and verify daily timesheets
· Verify daily/weekly production quantities
· Assist management on production tracking
· Participate in meetings
· Is available and on-call for various construction related emergencies
· Operate specialty equipment, if necessary
· CDL class A
Qualifications:
Given the type of position, excellent knowledge of lighting, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), signing, signalization and tolling systems is required.
