The Job: Residential Cleaning Contractor Moply Cleaning connects independent 1099 contractors with homeowners throughout the greater Austin area who need reliable, high-quality cleaning services. As a contractor, you'll be the face of Moply to our customers—building relationships, delivering excellent results, and maintaining the standards that keep people coming back. You'll provide your availability through our system, and customers book cleans directly from our platform. Most jobs are 4-6 hour residential cleanings: bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, and some deep cleans. We also offer airbnb/str turnovers so you would need to be comfortable with doing that as well. You set your own pace and can accept as many or as few jobs as you want based on your availability. We handle the customer communication and payments—you focus on the cleaning. Key Responsibilities You'll arrive on time with your own supplies and equipment, assess the home's condition, complete the cleaning to customer specifications, and communicate professionally with homeowners and Moply Cleaning. You'll document the cleans through photos and maintain your supplies and workspace to high standards. Skills & Qualities We're Looking For Reliability is non-negotiable—customers depend on you showing up when scheduled. You need reliable transportation, your own cleaning supplies and equipment, attention to detail, physical stamina for a few hours of active work, and a customer-focused mindset. Basic problem-solving matters too: knowing when to ask a customer a clarifying question or when something needs special care. We value honesty, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently. You're earning $25/hour as an independent contractor, which means you're responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and supplies.
