Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling, DAS, Security Systems

Field-based (Hudson Valley / NYC Metro Area)

What You’ll Do:
- Install, terminate, and test Cat6, fiber optic, and coax cabling
- Install and service access control, IP camera, and intrusion detection systems
- Perform CW and sweep testing on DAS installations (training provided if needed)
- Interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Use tools such as Fluke testers, fusion splicers, cable analyzers, and lifts
- Maintain neat, code-compliant installations and job site safety
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project milestones
- Travel to job sites throughout NY, NJ, and PA (per diem and travel pay as applicable)
Must Haves:
- 2+ years experience in low voltage installation
- Strong knowledge of EIA/TIA cabling standards
- Reliable transportation and clean driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and in crawlspaces
- U.S. Work Authorization
Nice to Haves (but not required):
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with DAS (iBwave knowledge a plus)
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g. Genetec, Lenel, Axis)
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, Smartsheet, or Procore
- Military or government site experience
