Vaco Staffing is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist for a contract-to-hire role! Hybrid Position. 40 hours per week

Job responsibilities include:

1. Prepare and submit medical insurance claims accurately and compliantly.
2. Assign medical codes to diagnoses and procedures for billing purposes.
3. Track payments, resolve billing issues, and ensure timely reimbursement.

Requirements include:

1. Proficiency in medical billing software and understanding of billing procedures.
2. Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and insurance claim processes.
3. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
