The Indian Health Service (IHS) Uintah-Ouray Service Unit at the Fort Duchesne PHS Indian Health Center in Fort Duchesne, Utah is seeking experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS/MLS) and Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) for a government contract in its outpatient clinic. This opportunity allows you to serve a medically underserved community while working in a well-equipped lab alongside a collaborative healthcare team. The CLS or MLT, Clinical Lab Scientist, Medical Lab Tech or Medical lab Scientist, will provide services in clinical laboratory setting by performing diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology and microbiology as well as assisting in phlebotomy. Proficient in the operation of different laboratory equipment /analyzers, running quality controls, calibration of laboratory equipment and capable of applying professional judgement in resulting out challenging diagnostic laboratory results. Experience working in a primary care outpatient clinic setting. Experience providing care to patients within a rural area. Experience or familiarity working with an Electronic Health Record System
