Description of the Role: As a Parts Manager at Freedom Ford South located in Fairfield, TX, you will be responsible for overseeing the parts department, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery. Responsibilities:

  • Manage parts inventory and ensure proper stocking levels.
  • Supervise parts department staff and assign tasks accordingly.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain good relationships and optimize costs.
  • Process orders, handle returns, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any parts-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a parts management role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and able to analyze data to make informed decisions.
Benefits: We offer competitive compensation ranging from $40,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year, based on experience. Parts Manager Responsibilities: * Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish * Work with parts counter person and technicians to locate any parts not in stock * Complete special order part request for the customer * Communicate with customer on parts status * Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner * Must follow all company safety policies and procedures * Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry Parts Manager Requirements: * Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus * Ability to identify the problem quickly * Knowledge of automobiles * Effective analytical and communication skills * Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills * Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications * Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Basic computer skills * Positive, friendly attitude * High school diploma or equivalent * Experience with auto parts sales (preferred) * Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment * Strong organizational and time management skills * Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
