Overview NESCA is seeking a per diem Executive Function Coach to join our coaching team (2–10 hours per week). This is a virtual position and can be done from anywhere, but willingness to see an occasional client in the Newton, MA office would be great. Coaches provide services for adolescents and young adults seeking to strengthen their executive functioning skills in both academic and real-world contexts. For example, coaches and their clients may work together to develop organizational systems for managing schoolwork, create a personalized study schedule for college courses, prepare for job interviews, or break down a complex project into manageable steps. Other common focus areas include time management, planning ahead, prioritizing tasks, self-monitoring, and building routines to increase independence. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills who enjoys coaching young people using a relational model, problem-solving creatively, and fostering self-confidence. A passion for learning and helping others succeed is essential. Job Details Identify executive functioning strengths and areas of need using a client- and family-centered approach Implement individualized strategies and supports for youth with a range of cognitive, learning, and developmental profiles Plan and facilitate "fun and functional" sessions that target skill development related to school, work, and independent living Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients, families, school personnel, and other relevant team members Provide written updates on progress and make recommendations for ongoing support as appropriate Qualifications Master\'s degree in education, occupational therapy, counseling, psychology, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience working with adolescents and/or young adults in a coaching, teaching, or therapeutic setting Knowledge of executive functioning skills and evidence-based strategies for supporting them Experience working with clients with learning differences, ADHD, autism, or related challenges Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Creativity, flexibility, patience, and a genuine interest in helping clients reach their potential Ability to work independently to manage a caseload while also collaborating as part of a team Willingness to seek guidance and supervision when needed #J-18808-Ljbffr NESCA
