Your Life as a Rain Gutter Installer You will work with a team to complete a vital step in the construction process for residential and commercial buildings. Before each assignment, you prepare by ensuring all necessary equipment, safety gear, tools, and supplies are ready. You keep an accurate count of all materials taken to the site, installed, and returned to the warehouse. You form and install aluminum rain gutters from coils of flat aluminum, creating a watershed drainage system to carry water from the roof and drain it away from the structure. The position involves working from heights on ladders and sometimes an aerial lift, and you must be familiar with safe working practices and fall arrest equipment. You make recommendations to your supervisor on “areas of concern” on sites, troubleshoot common problems, and work independently or as part of a team to complete installation jobs and other tasks as directed. What We Need From You High school diploma or GED preferred. At least 2‑3 years of experience installing rain gutters is preferred. Knowledge of construction practices is helpful but not required. Strong judgment and problem‑solving skills with a commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
