Job Summary: The Closing Coordinator is a crucial role within our company, responsible for coordinating the final stages of real estate transactions. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of the mortgage lending process.

Responsibilities:

• Closing Disclosure Preparation: Accurately prepare and review Closing Disclosures in compliance with TRID regulations, ensuring all necessary information is included and accurate.
• ALTA Statement Preparation: Create and verify ALTA statements, reconciling all figures and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• File Balancing: Maintain organized and balanced closing files, including accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing funds.
• Funds Disbursement: Process and disburse funds according to closing instructions, adhering to strict compliance and security protocols.
• Loan Document Auditing: Conduct thorough audits of loan documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with lender guidelines.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders throughout the closing process.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve closing-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Compliance: Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Closing Coordinator and/or Title Clearance in the mortgage title industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Closing Disclosures, ALTA statements, and loan document requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in closing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
