The role you'll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

Responsible for developing, achieving, and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. Collaboratively works with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting initiatives, and ensuring units/departments are appropriately staffed. Will assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

• Daily productivity and expense management and support unit/department manager with budget preparation
\n \n
• Support daily staffing plan matching competency with patient acuity
\n \n
• Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals Encourage associate participation in decision through shared governance structure.
\n \n
• Develop an understanding around the importance of relationships and support team dynamics by role modeling professional behavior.
\n \n\n \n\n

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

\n \n\n \n

Required qualifications:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in nursing
\n \n
• BSN required. Current incumbents must achieve by July 1, 2024.
\n \n
• Two years clinical RN experience
\n \n
• Current Colorado RN License or a Compact RN License from a NCLA Compact State
\n \n
• BCLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association. Comment: Additional competencies to align with annual competency grid.
\n \n
• Nursing Specialty Certification. Must achieve and maintain professional certification within two years of becoming ANM.
\n \n\n \n\n
