Our Client is looking for a
Senior Accountant to join their team in Charlottesville, VA.

• As a Senior Accountant to become an integral part of the Finance team by preparing JEs and related materials for the month-end and year-end closes.

• Creating timely and accurate accounting reporting, compiling management reports, providing variance analyses and serving as a resource for both accounting and general management.

• Primary Function includes - Monthly closing process, Prepare journal entries, Understanding of event costs, Prepare month-end and year-end process, Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.

• BA or BS in Accounting.

• Four to Five years of previous accounting experience.

• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of other Microsoft applications such as Access and PowerPoint required.

• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks at once and meet stringent deadlines.
