Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal systems used in commercial or industrial HVAC and construction applications. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, operate fabrication tools and machinery, and adhere to all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork and fittings according to blueprints and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and bend metal using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
• Inspect, test, and repair sheet metal systems as needed.
• Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate with other trades and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle materials properly.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or related trade.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in the use of shears, brakes, and other metal fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various environments (indoor and outdoor).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
