Job Summary: The Elite Job is seeking a highly motivated Sports Data Analyst to join our remote team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sports-related data to provide actionable insights for teams, coaches, and sports enthusiasts. Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and maintain large datasets related to sports events, player performance, and team statistics. Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights. Create visual reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Monitor and evaluate player and team metrics to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with coaches, sports analysts, and other team members to provide actionable recommendations. Stay updated with the latest trends in sports analytics, performance metrics, and technology. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all sports data handled. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Science, Sports Management, or a related field. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, R, SQL, or Tableau. Strong understanding of sports metrics, scoring systems, and performance analysis. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting insights effectively. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time efficiently. Experience: Prior experience (1–2 years) in sports analytics, data analysis, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for fresh graduates with strong analytical skills. Familiarity with sports statistics, databases, and performance tracking is an advantage. Working Hours: Part-time, flexible hours. Remote work from any location. Expected commitment: 15–20 hours per week, adjustable based on project requirements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong numerical and statistical skills to interpret complex datasets. Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools to communicate insights clearly. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
