Position Details Salary: $60,000 – $85,000 / Annually Department: Football – Medical & Performance Reports to: Director of Medical & Performance Work Location: Denver, CO Employee Type: Full-time Pay Type: Salaried FLSA: Exempt Supervisor Position: No Application Deadline: December 12, 2025 Responsibilities Place a primary focus on the development, maintenance, and monitoring of daily wellness and internal and external training load reports, aiming to provide cutting‑edge and individualized player monitoring and support. Design the daily, weekly, and monthly training plans and periodization strategies. Research and develop data management techniques to provide the Players and Staff with novel and contextual insights into Player performance. Assist and contribute to the development of innovative and integrated Player monitoring and management plans for all Players. Provide sports science support to Players during all training sessions and games. Assist with on‑field training, conditioning, and end‑stage return to play sessions for players. Assist with the delivery of gym‑based strength and conditioning for players. Educate and counsel Players regarding strategies to improve performance. Evaluate Player performance through performance testing, including but not limited to, workload monitoring and body composition testing, with input from Team Medical Staffing including Team Physician(s) and Registered Dietician. Collaborate with the Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapist(s) regarding injured, rehabilitating, and deconditioned Players to modify training programs with agreement from Team Medical Staff. Demonstrate high‑level interpersonal skills required to work effectively with Players, Team Medical Staff, Coaches, other Team personnel and League staff. Compile reports as required by the League. Comply with all League medical policies and protocols. Follow codes and standards of their governing bodies and all applicable League Rules and Team policies. Attend all activities/meetings/programs as required by the League. Perform other duties as assigned or required by the League. Qualifications Minimum: Minimum four (4) year college/university bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education or related field Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with elite‑level athletes (i.e., collegiate, professional, Olympic) Certified Performance and Sports Scientist (CPSS) certification CPR certification in Basic Life Support Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred: Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or related field Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Corrective Exercise Specializations (NASM‑CES), and/or Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM‑PES) Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner Ability to work independently & in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and adapt to changing environments Demonstrate high‑level interpersonal skills required to work effectively with Players, Team Medical Staff, Coaches, other Team personnel and League staff. Proven ability in sports science and analytics Experience working with GPS and other monitoring systems Experience handling and analyzing performance data Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment with competitive athletes Compensation Base salary of $60,000 – $80,000 per annum Eligible for annual discretionary bonus Benefits 15 Paid Company Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Life and AD&D Insurance And more!
