WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Syracuse, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,100 per week for this role.  

Job Function:  

\n

• Night Shift.
\n
• 3x12.
\n
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.    
\n
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.  
\n
• Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.  
\n
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.  
\n
• Initiates corrective action whenever the patient.  
\n

Job Requirements:  

\n

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing  (BSN).    
\n
• Current RN license for the state of NY.\n
\n
• 2  years of acute Med/Surg RN experience is required.    
\n
• BLS & ACLS certifications  from the American Heart Association.
\n
• Tele experience preferred.
\n
