Job Details:

• Work day, evening, or night shifts as needed
\n• 4-5 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (weekends could be day, evening, or night shift)
\n• 4-5 call shifts within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute callback response time
\n• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (no time off approved between Christmas and New Year)
\n• Holiday shifts could be day, evening, or night shift
\n• Float to other units as needed
\n• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
\n• 3 years minimum experience required
\n• Level I trauma experience required, Level II trauma experience minimum (>1 year)
\n• Previous travel experience required
\n• Must be proficient with Da Vinci Xi robot and bonus points for DV5 Da Vinci robot familiarity
\n• Must function independently in robotics, orthopedics, general, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and trauma
\n• Must be proficient with robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
\n• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate
\n• EPIC charting system experience heavily preferred
\n• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
\n• Pennsylvania nursing license required with no license hits accepted
\n• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
\n• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
\n• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with exemptions allowed
\n• Patient ratio of 1:1
\n• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics

This healthcare facility operates an 18-room general operating room department within a 593-bed hospital system. The facility specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures including robotic surgery, trauma care, and multiple specialty surgeries. The organization maintains high standards for surgical care and utilizes advanced technology including Da Vinci robotic systems. The facility serves as a Level I trauma center and provides comprehensive surgical services excluding open heart surgery and neurosurgery.
