Night Shift Hours: 2 open positions 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM ; Wednesday through Sunday as well as Friday through Tuesday


Starting pay : $22.00

What will you be doing as a Warehouse Associate:

SUMMARY: The primary function is responsible for picking & pulling materials to complete orders for internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner. This position may be crossed trained across various warehouse departments, including but not limited to Product Service, Receiving, Truck Check-In, or Picking & Pulling.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator.
  • Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
  • Ability to pull a minimum of 30 pieces per hour, including transfer items.
  • Pulls a minimum of 3 routes in 8 hours of less with no more than 6 missed pulls.
  • Knowledge on how to print assigned routes from OInSight.
  • Familiarity with basic functions of scanner gun.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including, but not limited to, trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and /or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish task.
  • Ensures all material is actually transferred or delivered to the proper location.
  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
  • Participates in quality improvement efforts.
  • Perform quality inspections on all equipment for damage and reports information to management.
  • Attendance meet department standards in accordance with Warehouse Attendance Guidelines.
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds;
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass/complete forklift certification within 15 days of employment.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
  • Lift and move a minimum of 75-100 plus pounds without assistance.
  • Climb a ladder to a height of at least 20 feet.
  • Walk, bend, and climb stairs.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are cool and noise level can be moderate to high.
