Assistant Athletic Director
Full-Time, 12 Months, Start Date of July 1, 2026.
Franklin Township Franklin Township is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director who is passionate about student success, athletic excellence, and supporting safe, high-quality sports experiences.
DESCRIPTION/ DUTIES - Support the Athletic Director in leading, planning, and coordinating district athletic programs.
- Assist with supervision and evaluation of staff and help implement strong curricular and program practices.
- Manage budgets, equipment, inventories, and purchasing within the athletics department.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, coaches, and the community.
- Oversee middle school athletic scheduling, eligibility, transportation, facilities, and event operations.
- Support compliance with district, state, and NJSIAA policies and procedures.
- Attend athletic events, Board meetings, and department activities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of athletic program operations, student development, and best practices in education.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate with administrators, coaches, staff, and community partners.
- Commitment to integrity, fairness, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Qualifications consistent with district and state requirements for this role (Administrative Certification, Masters Degree or equivalent)
