Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Scrum Master

This is a hybrid onsite role in Downtown Chicago

No Third parties

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of IT business analysts, developers, system engineers, and QAs to deliver value-added solutions for the business
  • Transforming teams through change, maximize velocity and improved communication between teams
  • Develop sprint plans with Scrum team, plan iterations, drive estimation exercises
  • Lead PI planning meeting and driving the teams Epics towards the milestone goals
  • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint review/demos and retrospectives meetings

Qualifications:

  • Ability to drive effective and fun retrospective sessions with goal of continuous improvement in upcoming sprints
  • Experience coaching the Product owner and team members in Scrum best practices including backlog refinement, planning and estimation
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Jira
  • PMP/CSM is a plus
  • pay around 70-75/hr
