Position Summary The TAS is a critical role in our customer model to execute BMS’s aspiration to be the bio‑pharma company that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers, driving adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients. The primary role is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio, engaging HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience through deeper scientific dialogue and consistent with label, while leveraging new ways of working and CE^3. Builds and maintains strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders and community‑based physicians/HCPs in private practice, medical group practices, office staff, and other stakeholders. Collaborates with other BMS functions to deliver an overall higher Customer Experience, prioritizing safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results and performance objectives. Field‑based: 100% of time in the field with external customers. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Promotion Promotes approved indications within a defined territory to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner. Creates demand by articulating balanced clinical and scientific rationale for product use. Maintains and grows scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas. Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans. Proactively uses tools such as CE^3 to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue Demonstrates scientific expertise and passion in using approved resources and publications. Conducts in‑office presentations and discusses product‑related scientific information consistent with label. Organizes external speaker programs from approved speakers list. Maintains expertise on emerging data for approved indications. Engages real‑time medical support through Medical on Call for unsolicited questions. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Collaborates with other field teams to ensure best Customer Experience for HCPs. Shares relevant insights and information internally to enable BMS to better serve its customers. Required Qualifications & Experience Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales. Strong communication skills to convey scientific or clinical data accurately to physicians. Proven ability to build and maintain credibility with key customers and stakeholders. Experience in Neurology is preferred. Demonstrated account‑management, selling competencies, and sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals. Effective cross‑functional collaboration and can‑do attitude. Strong selling and promotional skills proven through a track record of performance.
